HBB Design Collaborative [OKA Hbb Deco]
HBB Deco Is a full service design and architecture firm founded by Jonathan Hanna in 2021 and is focused on multifamily residential ranging from low density-low income housing to high density campus design. In addition to residential projects Hbb Deco has completed projects on a wide range of scales and scope from fabricated urban furniture to full scale urban and regional design.
Jonathan received his Masters of Architecture from the Princeton School of Architecture along with a Graduate Certificate in Health and Health Policy from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. They received their Masters of Urban Design and Bachelors of Science of Architecture with a Minor in Urban and Community Studies from the University of Michigan.
Jonathan maintains professional licensure in the State of Michigan as a Registered Architect and is currently Adjunct Faculty at the Lawrence Technological University College of Architecture and Design where they teach first year representation courses and final year Comprehensive Design studios.
Jonathan is a writer, designer, educator, and researcher whose primary focus is on βRe-Indigenizing the curriculum and practice through designing with and for diasporic communities throughout the Americas.
